COBRA is a landmark federal law that provides continuing coverage of group health benefits to employees and their dependent members of the families. The most important benefit about this program is – it gives employees the ability to continue their health insurance coverage even after leaving their respective employer for a certain limited period of time and under certain circumstances such as voluntary or involuntary job loss.
